With an unemployment rate of 4.8% in Mexico but 9% in the USA, perhaps there’ll be calls south of the border for a Mexican border fence to keep Americans out soon ?

I love political cartoons. They’re funny, sly and subversive. They question authority, draw attention to corruption and highlight social ills. A good cartoon cuts through all of the bullshit straight to the heart of an issue. The right image can be be more effective than the longest, wordiest rant. Its therefore a form that's ideally suited to our attention deficit age. They're irreverent and poke fun at our rulers, of course, but our political system is pretty much surreal comedy anyway. I don't own these images but I enjoy them. I hope you do too.
